Platform Technical Lead - EA Sports Net

Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term platform architecture for connected consumer experiences across the EA SPORTS Network.
- Establish technical standards, APIs, integration patterns, and engineering principles that scale across the sports portfolio.
- Oversee backend architecture and integration of identity, player profiles, personalization, commerce, and advertising services.
- Translate product requirements into a multi-year technical roadmap focused on business impact and player engagement.
- Define API, SDK, architecture review, technical governance, and developer experience standards.
- Build technical alignment and consensus across franchise studios, central technology teams, security teams, and external partners.
- Mentor engineering talent and represent EA SPORTS Network in senior engineering and technology forums.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, software engineering, or technical strategy for massive-scale consumer platforms.
- Deep hands-on experience with identity platforms, distributed microservices systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise integrations.
- Proven experience designing scalable and secure APIs and SDKs used by external or distributed teams.
- Ability to influence senior engineering leaders and build alignment across organizations without direct reporting lines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
