Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals and user needs into product opportunities and value hypotheses.
  • Prototype solutions, validate ideas, define scope, and track the impact of shipped outcomes.
  • Write and review technical requirements and acceptance criteria, assess feasibility, and frame build-versus-integrate decisions.
  • Review, test, and validate deliverables against requirements while identifying technical debt and systemic risks.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and a healthy, prioritized product backlog.
  • Collaborate with software engineers during implementation to unblock work, review progress, and course-correct.
  • Connect stakeholders and delivery teams through clear technical and non-technical communication.
  • Use Copilot, Claude, and other AI tools in daily work and guide responsible evaluation of AI-generated artifacts.
  • Run demos, gather requirements from business users, and translate financial workflows into system behavior.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in development and testing disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to move from problem statement to working prototype quickly.
  • Experience writing precise technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on quality assurance experience, including test design, validation, and defect triage.
  • Experience working directly with clients or external counterparties.
  • Solid grounding in financial instruments such as repos, derivatives, or related collateral and securities products.
  • Ability to run demos, gather business requirements, and translate workflows into system behavior.
  • Ability to frame engineering decisions in terms of user and business value and work effectively in ambiguity.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Professional experience using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Claude, or equivalent, with demonstrated critical evaluation of generated outputs.
  • Understanding of AI limitations relevant to software delivery, including hallucination, context loss, and security blind spots.
  • Fluency in Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
  • Strong documentation habits and a collaborative, decisive working style.
