Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, machine learning, compute technologies, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with software engineering, machine learning, and machine learning infrastructure.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects in safety, abuse detection, or security.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in online fraud, spam, or abuse within the technology industry.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
