Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of software features, including design, prototyping, implementation, testing, maintenance, deployment, and technical support.
- Design, develop, integrate, customize, update, and support large-scale software and web applications.
- Produce technical specifications, software designs, verification plans, quality assurance procedures, test results, and other technical documentation.
- Analyze integration needs and collaborate with project stakeholders, engineering teams, product teams, and operations teams.
- Provide technical leadership, present and defend architectural and design decisions, and mentor junior software engineers.
- Support software releases, train representatives and operations staff, and resolve production issues, including during additional or variable working hours.
- Research competitive products, technical literature, patents, and current practices relevant to assigned projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C, C++, or Golang, database design, and network programming.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale systems; distributed systems and mission-critical systems experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, technical innovation, technical support persistence, and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and software engineering methodology.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and willingness to work under pressure and handle production issues outside normal working hours.
- Advertising industry experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for relevant coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience.
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
