Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of software features, from design and prototyping through implementation, testing, maintenance, deployment, and support.
- Design and develop software and web applications, integrate components, and support application updates and releases.
- Write technical specifications, documentation, software designs, evaluation plans, test results, and technical reports.
- Develop verification plans and quality assurance procedures while writing efficient, testable code.
- Analyze integration needs and present architectural, design, and technical decisions to internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for production issues and collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior software engineers.
- Monitor competitive applications, products, literature, patents, and relevant industry practices.
- Work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, when needed for production support.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C, C++, or Golang, database design, and network programming.
- Seven to ten years of relevant work experience.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale systems.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems and mission-critical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, technical innovation, technical support persistence, and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle, Agile, and software engineering methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and willingness to work additional hours for production issues.
- Advertising industry experience is a plus.
