Responsibilities
- Define and promote the technical vision and long-term roadmap for software systems.
- Gather client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance existing applications and code samples.
- Perform testing and maintenance using automated testing tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on application/interface code, documentation, and technical guides.
- Identify team growth areas and stay current with software development trends.
- Influence architects, align teams, and drive consensus on technical direction.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Java 8, 11, or 17; Spring Boot MVC, Data, Security, and Cloud; .NET; and microservices design.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, SQS, and API Gateway, as well as cloud-native patterns.
- Mastery of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation Templates, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with performance tuning, security hardening, and distributed systems.
- Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, produce software aligned with product requirements, and mentor engineers.
