Base Salary
$130k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the overall strategy for enterprise Change and Approval Management.
- Lead technical initiatives across multiple teams and provide strategic and technical guidance.
- Develop and architect solutions using Go, Python, Java, SQL/NoSQL databases, container orchestration, and Azure services.
- Ensure the quality, performance, usability, scalability, and reliability of engineering solutions.
- Mentor engineers, serve as a technical thought leader, and influence executives.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, diagnose production issues, and conduct post-incident reviews.
- Continuously improve processes, adopt best practices, and drive operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages, including Go, Python, Java, C, or C++, and object-oriented design.
- Hands-on experience with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Experience managing distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Loki.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-based deployments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-scale environment with strong problem-solving, ownership, accountability, communication, and collaboration skills.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in software development, platform architecture, and infrastructure management.
- At least 8 years of experience as an SRE or DevOps team member.
- At least 8 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- At least 8 years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- At least 5 years of experience with system architecture and design.
- At least 5 years of experience participating in an on-call rotation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
