Fannie MaeResponsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions that meet customer needs.
- Serve as a lead technical contributor on large and complex software development projects.
- Collaborate with product owners and development team members to define features, user stories, business processes, and application requirements.
- Participate in peer and manager code reviews to ensure adherence to user stories, resource libraries, and architecture patterns.
- Respond to production support calls and repair application issues quickly.
- Serve as the technical lead for an Agile team and participate in planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Use the DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test, and promote application features.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Five years of progressive software engineering experience in the mortgage finance industry.
- At least four years of experience with APIs, Java, Spring, Spring Integration, BitBucket, CSS, Cucumber, Excel, HTML, JIRA, JavaScript, JSON, Jenkins, PL/SQL, Python, SQL, Selenium, UNIX, XML, Oracle XML, AWS services, Agile practices, and serving as a technical project lead.
