Responsibilities
- Advocate for quality in software and products, emphasizing early risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout product evolution.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential risks.
- Suggest improvements to code, tests, and testing tools.
- Examine end-to-end processes to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to the development of a reliable automated testing suite.
- Coach teams to adopt a quality mindset and approach.
- Mentor junior QAs and represent QA expertise in the tech community.
Requirements
- Experience as a Quality Analyst within a development team.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and testing models.
- Ability to suggest changes to enhance quality in both on-premise and cloud architectures.
- Experience in functional and cross-functional testing, including performance and security testing.
- Proficient in leveraging metrics to improve deployment and recovery processes.
- Ability to design and implement quality strategies for the team.
- Understanding of user experience and research methodologies.
