Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test features for Intuit’s Android applications from the user interface through the services they call.
- Write clean, well-tested Kotlin and Java code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve defects across the application stack.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and share effective practices with the team.
- Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, PhD, or equivalent degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
- Be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Have experience building Android applications, ideally using Kotlin.
- Have familiarity with Android application architecture and frameworks such as Jetpack, Coroutines, and MVVM.
- Have working knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Python.
- Be comfortable connecting mobile applications to cloud-based APIs with designers and backend engineers.
- Have familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability, initiative, communication skills, and successful delivery of assigned work.
- Show curiosity about applying AI tools to real-world problems and a desire to learn and grow in a technical environment.
