Responsibilities
- Partner with a dedicated mentor from onboarding through shipping.
- Collaborate with the design team throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Contribute to new features and products for Robinhood’s mobile experience.
- Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX.
- Work with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Have a solid foundation in software engineering.
- Have an interest in front-end work, visually driven product design, and shaping user experience.
- Be familiar with Android components and have built or contributed to at least one Android app.
- Have experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
- Have familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and other libraries in the technology stack.
- Demonstrate a self-starter mentality and proactive approach.
