Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test features for Intuit’s iOS applications, including user interfaces and the services they call.
- Write clean, well-tested Swift code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve defects across the application stack.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and share learnings with the team.
- Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, PhD, or equivalent program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
- Experience building iOS applications, ideally using Swift or Objective-C.
- Familiarity with iOS application architecture and frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and MVVM.
- Working knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about applying AI to real-world problems.
- Ability to connect mobile applications to cloud-based APIs and collaborate with designers and backend engineers.
- Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the internship duration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, initiative, and independent decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Ability and desire to learn and grow in a technical environment.
