Responsibilities
- Develop accessible, responsive, production-ready interfaces for dashboards, search, filtering, drill-down, reporting, and data review.
- Build reusable UI components using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, and data platforms.
- Develop interactive data visualizations, dashboards, charts, tables, filters, search, and drill-down workflows.
- Implement responsive design, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management, and accessible interactions.
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests and troubleshoot UI, API integration, performance, and accessibility issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Document UI architecture, reusable components, integrations, testing, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with UX, software engineering, data engineering, data science, and AI/ML teams.
- Apply security, privacy, accessibility, data governance, and records-management requirements.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing production front-end and UI applications.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with reusable component design, state management, API integration, and automated UI testing.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, semantic markup, keyboard navigation, focus management, and responsive design.
- Experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, filtering, drill-down, search, and reporting interfaces.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Understanding of web performance, browser compatibility, and responsive application development.
- Strong technical communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility.
- Active Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Preferred experience includes Federal financial, grants, budget, payment, award oversight, or financial reporting systems.
- Preferred experience includes secure Federal, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments and Linux-based development or deployment.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Java, .NET, Jenkins, self-hosted Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-powered capabilities and familiarity with open-source AI models and AI-enabled user interfaces.
- Experience with WCAG and Section 508 compliance in production applications.
