Base Salary
$185k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver solutions that improve Cribl’s cloud service, infrastructure, and tools.
- Solve infrastructure problems using a software-driven, cloud-first approach focused on quality, testability, and repeatability.
- Work directly with teams to implement product roadmaps with a focus on service delivery and reliability.
- Contribute to team best practices and engineering standards.
- Identify and reduce operational toil through innovation and automation.
- Build, test, and ship high-quality software.
- Participate in standby, on-call, or off-hours duties.
Requirements
- Experience developing with JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript in Linux or Mac environments.
- Experience building and deploying infrastructure in a public cloud using a software-development-driven approach, including Terraform.
- Specific expertise scaling compute in Azure.
- Experience with complex development environments, large-scale highly available distributed systems, and SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development and API-driven solutions for managing and abstracting infrastructure details.
- Experience scaling and deploying Linux-based systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally with a globally distributed engineering team.
