Responsibilities
- Develop and ship features for a high-performance React Native codebase embedded in native iOS and Android hosts.
- Drive mobile architecture and code quality, including proofs of concept, developer-experience improvements, and UI responsiveness optimization.
- Design and align RESTful API contracts with backend, product, and UX Design teams.
- Write reusable, tested, and maintainable code across the mobile software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and participate in agile planning.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from concept through production release while contributing to application architecture.
Requirements
- Solid mobile application development background with an understanding of iOS and/or Android platform-specific nuances.
- Proven senior-level experience building and scaling React Native applications in production.
- Deep TypeScript expertise, including work with strict configurations in large shared codebases.
- Hands-on experience with React Native architecture, including native modules, Fabric, TurboModules, Hermes, and the New Architecture.
- Experience with React Query v4 or v5 for data fetching and cache management.
- Openness to using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
- Preferred: experience with Jest and React Native Testing Library.
- Preferred: experience with monorepos and internal packages such as Lerna, Nx, or npm workspaces.
- Preferred: experience in FinTech, trading platforms, or high-throughput real-time systems.
