Base Salary
$89k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own meaningful features and services through design, development, shipping, and production operation
- Contribute to architecture decisions for AI, agent, and product systems
- Write high-quality, well-tested, observable code and support engineering quality through reviews and pairing
- Handle privacy, security, and health data responsibly
- Break ambiguous product problems into deliverable work and make pragmatic trade-offs
- Partner with product, design, and Data teams to turn requirements into working software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field
- Strong engineering skills and the ability to own backend features or systems end to end
- Experience with testing, deployment, observability, and operating software in production
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into shippable solutions and make pragmatic trade-offs
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across product, design, engineering, and Data
- Interest in improving healthcare within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least 2 days per week
- Bonus: experience with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Flutter, AI/LLM product systems or agents, healthcare data or other regulated domains, mobile and backend integration, or early-stage consumer products
