Base Salary

$174k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own test strategy and quality outcomes for features from design through release.
  • Design and implement test plans, test designs, and automation for new and existing features.
  • Improve product reliability, performance, and scalability through early defect detection and risk identification.
  • Build and manage lab environments that simulate real customer networking deployments.
  • Analyze logs, triage issues, and identify root causes of defects.
  • Identify release blockers, evaluate quality risks, and influence release readiness decisions.
  • Prioritize test coverage and manage testing timelines for feature delivery.
  • Analyze customer-reported defects and improve test coverage and tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to improve product quality.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to testing best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in QA testing in networking/security-focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, especially BGP.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
  • Expertise in Linux environments and scripting (Python, Shell).
  • Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude-Code.
  • Proficiency in coding in Golang (preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
