Base Salary
$255k - $527k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs.
- Build tools and platform capabilities for Roku’s programming operations team.
- Develop user experiences and tools that define and drive content workflows.
- Code, test, document, and deliver scalable and reliable platform services and components.
- Improve the web application platform for developers and partners while supporting stability, performance, quality, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO.
- Participate in scoping, technical design, estimation, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support.
- Complete individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with limited supervision.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in the position or a related occupation.
- At least one year of experience with algorithms and data structures.
- At least one year of full-stack web development using JavaScript frameworks, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, and React Native.
- At least one year of experience with object-oriented design.
- At least one year of experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Lambda, CloudFront, and related cloud infrastructure technologies.
- At least one year of experience with HTML, CSS, and Java.
- At least one year of experience with DynamoDB, S3, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- At least one year of experience with software engineering practices.
