Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build architectures that represent commercial contractual agreements.
- Develop event-driven systems using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Own and operate highly available, secure systems handling real-time contract data and confidential information.
- Write efficient, testable code in Java, Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript.
- Contribute across planning, architecture, implementation, testing, operations, documentation, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and other Software Development Engineers to define product scope.
- Investigate customer issues, release features, and improve systems for Amazon-scale operation.
- Mentor and support the growth of other developers.
Requirements
- At least five years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operations.
- Experience contributing to architecture and design for reliability and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services is preferred.
- Experience building data-driven web applications using RESTful services and APIs is preferred.
- Experience representing the formal semantics of legal documents is preferred.
