Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI solutions that automate and enhance university operations.
- Create scalable AI architectures integrated with existing university systems.
- Design and manage end-to-end data pipelines, ETL processes, data quality checks, monitoring, and governance.
- Develop, fine-tune, train, validate, deploy, and evaluate machine learning models and large language model solutions.
- Integrate AI systems with identity management, knowledge bases, ticketing systems, communication platforms, APIs, databases, and authentication services.
- Deploy models to production using established MLOps practices and monitor system and pipeline performance.
- Detect model or data drift, optimize resource utilization, and improve model accuracy and efficiency based on usage and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Four to six years of experience working with AI or machine learning, with demonstrated success in enterprise applications.
- Deep understanding of large language models and experience designing effective prompts for enterprise applications.
- Strong experience developing and deploying machine learning models and AI systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, SQL, containerized deployments, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience across the full machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Advanced knowledge of natural language processing, prompt engineering, context management, and enterprise LLM implementation.
- Experience deploying and scaling AI systems in cloud environments and designing scalable, secure, and efficient architectures.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, statistical analysis, data visualization, AI security, adversarial attack prevention, ethics, bias mitigation, fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in higher education or similarly complex organizational environments is preferred.

- Expected hiring range is $87,785.00-$123,998.75, with starting salary determined by factors including education, experience, location, knowledge, expertise, skills, and internal pay comparisons.
