Responsibilities
- Build new user-facing features from database models to UI components.
- Optimize data synchronization by applying better serialization protocols.
- Add real-time collaborative editing to the content editor.
- Improve performance by profiling and tweaking virtualized list rendering.
- Implement analytics, monitoring, and alerts for operational incidents.
- Open-source non-trivial innovations from product work.
- Redefine best-in-class software development processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building customer-facing products.
- Strong fundamentals in React and TypeScript.
- Experience across the full stack including Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of driving complex, end-to-end features.
- Product sensibility with a focus on UX, speed, and polish.
- Ability to work without heavy PM oversight and shape problems.
- High ownership mentality and self-directed approach.
- Experience in a startup or high engineering bar company.
