Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features for the Flox platform using Rust, Python, and TypeScript.
- Own the quality and reliability of shipped features by writing tests and reviewing code.
- Utilize agentic coding tools as the primary development workflow for complex system parts.
- Build and maintain AI development infrastructure, including harnesses and evaluation frameworks.
- Evaluate new agentic development tools and practices, running experiments and making recommendations.
- Help engineers develop reliable AI-assisted workflows and document effective practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
- Production experience with Rust, Python, and/or TypeScript, with strong skills in at least one.
- Daily use of agentic coding tools as a primary development workflow.
- Experience building AI development infrastructure for team use.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to maintain quality in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication skills for documenting workflows and practices.
