Responsibilities
- Design and develop Order Management System features for new initiatives and existing products.
- Build and maintain backend services and frontend applications using established technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and team collaboration.
- Maintain engineering best practices and software quality.
- Refactor systems and contribute to platform improvements and performance enhancements.
- Make hands-on technical contributions to software development projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience with Java and frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale applications.
- Strong foundation in software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Comfort using AI coding assistance such as Claude.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Playwright.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or Jenkins, or to automation tools.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills, with willingness to learn and support team growth.
- Preferred experience with financial trading applications, especially OMS, EMS, or related systems.
- Preferred familiarity with multithreaded programming, scalable frontend solutions, trading workflows, FIX protocol, market data integration, and system upgrades or technology improvements.
