Technical Architect- Salesforce Devops
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, build, and own the Hub-wide CI/CD framework using Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions, and Gearset or Copado.
- Define Salesforce environment topology, scratch-org strategy, Git branching standards, deployment governance, release sequencing, rollback procedures, and production runbooks.
- Design automated testing, code coverage, UI automation, data validation, smoke testing, static analysis, and security quality gates across pipeline stages.
- Manage concurrent multi-org and multi-track pipelines, including cross-track dependencies, metadata conflicts, shared components, and coordinated deployments.
- Integrate ETL scheduling, bulk loads, reconciliation, and data migration execution into Salesforce CI/CD workflows.
- Design secrets management, deployment monitoring, observability dashboards, environment health checks, and alert routing.
- Mentor DevOps Engineers, conduct design reviews, establish shared standards, and evaluate new Salesforce release-management and automation tools.
- Build reusable Salesforce DevOps tooling, including LWC dashboards, Apex health-check utilities, metadata-driven configuration, and Flow-based release approvals.
Requirements
- 10–16 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps engineering, and Salesforce platform delivery.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps experience owning CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release governance for large-scale programs.
- At least 3 years designing DevOps frameworks for multi-track, multi-org Salesforce delivery programs with 4 or more concurrent release streams.
- Expert Salesforce DX, scratch-org, SFDX project, package-development, Metadata API, and CLI experience.
- Hands-on experience with Git, branching strategy, CI/CD pipelines, Gearset or Copado, Salesforce environment management, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and automated testing.
- Experience with Salesforce Code Analyzer, PMD, ESLint, SAST tooling, secrets management, monitoring, observability, ETL integration, and Salesforce platform security.
- Demonstrated experience establishing program-level standards adopted by multiple teams, mentoring DevOps Engineers, and integrating data migration pipelines into Salesforce CI/CD.
- Required certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer, and Salesforce Administrator.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Application Architect, Copado Fundamentals I and II, Gearset Certified, and GitHub Actions Certification.
- Preferred experience includes Copado Robotic Testing or Provar, unlocked packages, Docker, Salesforce Shield, Marketing Cloud deployment tooling, Tableau automation, Terraform, Ansible, DataOps, and Agentforce deployment governance.
