Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver engineering platform capabilities that enable teams to build, test, secure, and deploy services in a highly automated CI/CD environment.
  • Design, implement, and evolve reliable and repeatable CI/CD pipelines across teams and services.
  • Embed Infrastructure-as-Code practices to standardize provisioning, improve scalability, and prevent configuration drift.
  • Integrate security controls into engineering workflows from initial build through production.
  • Support engineering teams with guidance, tooling, and best practices that improve delivery velocity, quality, and resilience.
  • Continuously optimize automation, remove repetitive manual tasks, reduce cycle times, and improve developer experience.

Requirements

  • Programming or scripting, continuous integration and continuous deployment, automation, orchestration, software development lifecycle, growth mindset, and IT security experience or knowledge.
  • Strong IT and engineering skills with an interest in building, designing, and securing modern technology platforms.
  • Experience with software application development using technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++ is desirable.
  • Knowledge of database technologies and ORM, source-code control, CI/CD platforms, configuration management, Infrastructure-as-Code, containers, artifact management, observability, identity and access management, and encryption is desirable.
  • DV Security Clearance is required.
  • Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to obtain the required clearance.
