Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of capabilities within the AI-native Kubernetes platform.
- Design and develop the Kubernetes-based runtime environment and infrastructure provisioning capabilities.
- Serve as a technical leader and domain expert across multiple teams.
- Guide innovative technology development and influence technical and product direction through technical documentation and root-cause analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business risks.
- Lead customer-focused design and development based on customer needs.
- Promote codebase contributions and innovation across Intuit.
- Mentor and assess engineers while fostering an inclusive technical team.
- Lead multiple teams of approximately 10 to 35 engineers and conduct technical design, architecture, and code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Considerable expertise in Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS, including operator patterns, Kubernetes clients, controllers, shared informers, and caching mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Golang and extensive AWS experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams of 10 to 35 engineers.
- Experience leading technical design, architecture, and code reviews.
- Ability to simplify technical designs and operations to improve team understanding and performance.
- Proven operational excellence and ability to innovate and simplify processes and designs.
- Strong commitment to developing the skills and knowledge of team members.
