Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain on-premises and VPC instances under complex enterprise constraints, including air-gapped environments, custom authentication, and strict latency targets.
- Build tooling that makes deployments faster, more reliable, and easier to debug.
- Create diagnostics, dashboards, and evaluation harnesses to measure performance and track regressions across environments.
- Write internal documentation and playbooks for repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with customers, support, and core engineers to identify high-impact improvements.
- Provide feedback to product and infrastructure teams on usability gaps, unmet needs, and opportunities to increase customer value.
- Work directly with founders and customers to shape product direction and engineering strategy.
- Build integrations, debug complex edge cases, optimize deployment pipelines, and ship user-focused features.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience deploying software in production settings, ideally for enterprise or regulated customers.
- Excellent Python skills and ability to navigate Bash and infrastructure as needed.
- Very comfortable working with Kubernetes.
- Able to build tools such as Streamlit applications to test hypotheses or create datasets.
- Quantitative, hands-on approach to debugging, experimentation, iteration, and the full development lifecycle.
- High ownership, strong quality standards, and willingness to work directly on problems.
- Prior experience founding a company or building products at an early stage is a bonus.
- Interest in the latest developments in ML and AI is a bonus.
