Base Salary

$180k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services.
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
Serve as the team’s go-to technical leader and guide technical and architectural decisions.
Mentor junior developers through guidance, feedback, and technical coaching.
Help shape scalable, secure, and maintainable system architecture.
Lead code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Analyze complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features and improvements.
Ensure systems meet high standards for security, performance, and reliability.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
8–12+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.
Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
Expertise with Spring and Hibernate.
Experience implementing SSO solutions such as SAML and OpenID.
Experience with MySQL or another relational database management system.
Ability to take initiative and help define product design.
Comfort working in an agile development process.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must like dogs, which are present in the office every day.

Base salary range of $180,000–$220,000, plus additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
