Base Salary
$70k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and support systems based on user specifications.
- Provide technical assistance in resolving hardware and software problems.
- Develop and support Java applications using API-enabled and event-driven architectures.
- Work with technical tools for systems development and support, including databases, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines.
- Maintain knowledge of technical industry trends and apply them to the organization.
- Balance software development with production support and infrastructure-related responsibilities.
- May identify training needs, train less-experienced staff, and serve as project leader for specific projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 7 years of development experience using Java to build API-enabled applications and event-driven architectures; the posting also lists 5+ years in a repeated Basic Qualifications section.
- At least 2 years of production support, infrastructure engineering, or administration experience.
- Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures and experience with Oracle and Snowflake.
- Experience or working knowledge of DevSecOps, Kubernetes, container-based technologies, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience working on product teams and awareness of agile practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, interpersonal, customer-service, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include marketing applications or integration experience, architecture or tech lead experience, deep knowledge of microservices patterns and the Spring framework including Spring Boot and Spring Batch, and cloud architect, engineer, or developer certifications.
