Base Salary
$70k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
- Develop and support backend applications using Java, API-enabled application patterns, and event-driven architecture.
- Write SQL queries and stored procedures and work with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
- Provide production support, infrastructure engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for hardware and software problems.
- Use Kubernetes or other container-based technologies and deployment pipelines in cloud-native environments.
- Maintain knowledge of technical industry trends and available systems-development and support tools.
- Serve as a technical or project leader and assist with training less experienced staff when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of development experience using Java, building API-enabled applications, and applying event-driven architecture; the posting also includes a duplicated qualification of 7+ years.
- At least 2 years of production support, infrastructure engineering, or administration experience.
- Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures and knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake databases.
- Experience or working knowledge of DevSecOps, Kubernetes, or other container-based technologies and deployment pipelines.
- Preferred experience with marketing applications or integrations and previous architecture or technical lead experience.
- Preferred deep knowledge of microservices patterns and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, customer-service, and collaboration skills.
- Cloud architect, engineer, or developer certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience working on product teams and awareness of agile practices.

- Annual base compensation range of $70,000.00–$140,000.00, plus eligibility for an applicable incentive compensation plan.
