$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, and operation of components within the Software Ecosystem Management platform.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and data-processing workflows for software metadata.
- Develop data models and normalization logic supporting ownership, lifecycle, and dependency analysis.
- Debug across service and data boundaries, identify root causes, and deliver reliable fixes.
- Improve reliability, performance, scalability, observability, automation, and capacity planning.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards for the new platform.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and partner teams to define contracts and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
- Operate built services, respond to production issues, and use operational data for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in distributed service engineering or a related software development role.
- Strong development experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
- Experience building or operating distributed systems and APIs at scale.
- Familiarity with databases, data processing, and production-grade backend services.
- Experience debugging across service boundaries and improving reliability and performance.
- Ability to work in a large enterprise environment with ambiguous and evolving requirements.
- Comfort taking ownership, moving quickly, and building durable solutions.
