Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions that improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware-testing strategies, automated test tools, and production automation.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation, performance, and integration.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Provide product-enhancement feedback to design teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis and triage production, product, and process issues.
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency with Python and familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, hardware testing and automated test-system experience, hardware-software integration knowledge, data analysis and performance-monitoring experience, high-volume manufacturing experience, and experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, or Nix.
