Production Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions that improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware-testing strategies and automated testing tools.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, including performance monitoring.
- Provide product-enhancement feedback to design teams.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and triage production, product, and process issues.
- Contribute to system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and experience designing scalable system architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and ownership skills.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Preferred: experience with hardware testing, automated test systems, hardware-software integration, data analysis, performance monitoring, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Preferred: experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.
