Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Develop core decision-making, behavior-planning, and motion-planning algorithms for autonomous trucks.
  • Improve strategies for highway merges, lane changes, and low-speed industrial operations.
  • Design and implement solutions to complex robotics problems.
  • Work with a production-level codebase focused on modern C++.
  • Deploy code on autonomous trucks operating in real-world environments.
  • Solve problems involving motion planning, decision-making, trajectory optimization, optimization, and computational geometry.
  • Collaborate with and receive mentorship from robotics engineers.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student.
  • Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Strong knowledge of kinematics, linear algebra, and calculus.
  • Ability to solve basic optimization and computational geometry problems.
  • Solid understanding of motion planning, decision-making, and trajectory optimization for autonomous systems.
