Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems while owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
- Deliver features and projects from initial ideation and requirements gathering through production operations.
- Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate on design discussions and roadmap development.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of operated services.
- Mentor and support team members while collaborating in a fully remote engineering organization.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one programming language; familiarity with Go, Python, C, C++, Rust, or similar is relevant.
- Some experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through customer-facing product release.
- Some experience developing software that runs in the cloud or experience with systems engineering.
- Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software.
- Strong self-direction, customer focus, pragmatic problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
