Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-quality, scalable, secure software systems, including microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems using messaging, search stores, and cloud storage solutions.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver APIs supporting high-performance user interfaces.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster team growth through knowledge sharing and guidance.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize services with a DevOps mindset.
- Drive end-to-end technical execution and delivery of cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software application development experience with distributed systems and cloud storage solutions.
- Proficiency with Java and Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containerization.
- Deep understanding of AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with DataDog, Grafana, or Prometheus observability tools.
- Expertise across the full Software Development Life Cycle and Git version control.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML model inference, AI security controls, automated threat intelligence, SLAs, high availability, disaster recovery, cost optimization, TDD, Agile workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and relational or NoSQL databases.
