Base Salary
$225k - $340k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers focused on immediate response to active threats.
- Implement Starshield’s cyber defense strategy and develop countermeasures based on the cyber threat landscape.
- Conduct red-team exercises, vulnerability discovery efforts, internal bug hunts, and vulnerability triage.
- Improve incident discovery and response in collaboration with internal security-event detection teams.
- Collaborate with teams building security features and internal incident discovery tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, or a similar field plus 7+ years of professional cybersecurity experience, or 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Experience leading a team of direct reports.
- Experience implementing systems for adversary detection and incident response.
- Expertise in computer networks and large-scale distributed compute platforms.
- Experience leading 3–5 engineers on a technical cybersecurity project.
- Experience with vulnerability discovery and triage, continuity of operations planning, and Blue Team or Red Team assessments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences and learn new technologies quickly.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

- Base salary range is $225,000–$340,000, with a possible 10% clearance differential up to an additional $20,000 annually; compensation is excluded from this benefits summary.
