Responsibilities
- Define benchmarking requirements, metrics, and strategy for FlashArray products across diverse platforms.
- Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and mentorship to software and performance engineers.
- Develop performance validation strategies for critical customer scenarios in collaboration with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering.
- Analyze Linux storage and networking bottlenecks and identify optimizations for throughput and latency.
- Translate performance data into actionable engineering improvements and support high-quality product releases.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade servers, storage, and databases.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise storage and SAN protocols, including iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
- Expert proficiency with Linux systems, network configuration, storage stacks, system settings, and command-line utilities used for performance tuning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience turning complex performance data into engineering improvements.
