Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural vision for scalable, high-performance AdTech systems.
- Create and present design reviews and translate requirements into technical designs.
- Own planning, execution, and release of complex software systems end to end.
- Develop and maintain scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, and related frameworks.
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities to improve ad delivery, targeting, and system efficiency.
- Design data models and optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL queries for high performance and reliability.
- Implement logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and other observability capabilities.
- Guide code quality, design patterns, documentation, code reviews, and cross-team technical decisions.
- Mentor engineers and deliver periodic technical deep-dive training sessions.
- Solve complex distributed-systems problems and contribute to technical direction and innovation.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of core software engineering experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot, and REST web service development.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems and high-concurrency environments.
- Hands-on experience building RAG systems, agentic workflows, and model integrations.
- Expertise with MySQL and PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, Memcached, and high-volume systems.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring technologies including ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent degree.
- AngularJS or modern Angular experience is preferred.
- AdTech experience in digital advertising, real-time bidding, or high-volume data processing is preferred.
