Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical vision, architecture, and multi-year roadmap for the MOSAIC Data Platform.
- Lead large-scale, ambiguous initiatives such as regional launches, platform re-architectures, and compliance framework overhauls across multiple teams and organizations.
- Establish team-wide engineering standards for API design, operational readiness, and CI/CD pipeline maturity.
- Identify systemic risks, scaling bottlenecks, and operational gaps and drive solutions that reduce incidents and operational toil.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for AI service, compliance, security, infrastructure, and other cross-organizational stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, provide career development coaching, and establish technical growth paths.
- Act as the senior escalation path for high-severity incidents, author organization-level COEs, and improve LORE compliance maturity.
- Contribute to architecture forums, bar-raising initiatives, and distributed-systems thought leadership across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred experience building data platforms, data lakes, or ETL/ELT systems at scale.
- Preferred familiarity with GDPR, PCI, SOC, ISO, and HIPAA compliance frameworks.
- Preferred experience operating multi-region, latency-critical services with sub-10ms p90 SLAs.
- Preferred background in ML/AI data infrastructure, data flywheel automation, model training data pipelines, or dataset management systems.
- Preferred experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines.
