Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure authentication features, APIs, and fixes for current and future scale.
- Own the technical integrity, architectural evolution, and long-term scalability of the core product.
- Act as a technical steward for the codebase and proactively drive project success.
- Use AI coding assistants for prototyping, boilerplate generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and edge-case simulation while auditing and securing generated code.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, customers, and support teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues.
- Lead team discussions, mentor engineers, and improve team productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience creating public or internal APIs using Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, autonomy, attention to detail, and continuous improvement orientation.
- Ability to prioritize user experience and maintain the security and integrity of authentication systems.
