Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based software components and applications using modern C++ and C#.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and defect resolution.
- Use Visual Studio and associated C++ and C# development tools for application development.
- Work with Windows operating system fundamentals including processes, services, registry, file systems, threads, User Account Control, and application configuration.
- Use GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, merges, rebasing, and code reviews.
- Support GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
- Manage dependencies with NuGet and Conan and configure builds with CMake and Visual Studio project configurations.
- Develop and execute unit tests with Google Test.
- Create technical documentation and participate in peer reviews and Agile development activities.
- Collaborate with Software Verification, Product Management, DevOps, Architecture, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics, information technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience using C++ and C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience developing Windows applications and strong knowledge of Windows operating system fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio-based C++ and C# development.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CMake, Conan, NuGet, and Google Test.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include regulated-industry software experience, familiarity with SonarQube, CodeScene, C++ linting, software architecture and design patterns, secure coding, Agile/Scrum, and software deployment and configuration management.
