Responsibilities

  • Develop the Feedzai Orchestration product focusing on data orchestration and transformation.
  • Iterate within an Agile squad to deliver shippable increments across the tech stack.
  • Write reusable Scala code and maintain quality through unit and integration tests.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions, including backend services and frontend components.
  • Collaborate with Product & Design to translate UX wireframes into functional interfaces.
  • Document engineering decisions and mentor peers in best practices.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent with strong fundamentals in algorithms and distributed systems.
  • 2+ years of experience building production JVM back-ends using Scala.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performance services and APIs.
  • Experience with modern data and messaging platforms like Kafka and Spark.
  • A growth mindset with a drive to learn and experiment.
  • Cloud expertise and experience with a modern data stack are nice to have.
