Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and APIs.
- Architect and implement scalable backend solutions for growing user loads.
- Maintain high coding standards and conduct code reviews.
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize code for improved performance.
- Implement monitoring and debugging tools for system availability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites for backend reliability.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
- Document code, APIs, and technical processes for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Must be located in the EMEA region.
- Strong TypeScript experience is required.
- Previous experience in the blockchain space is preferred.
- Extensive professional experience in a similar senior or lead role.
- Understanding of document databases and caching is necessary.
- Experience in software design and architecture is required.
- Deep knowledge of testing frameworks and principles is essential.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are needed.
- Ability to write maintainable, scalable, production-grade code is crucial.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Experience with smart contract development is a plus.
- Proficiency in Golang is a plus.
