Responsibilities

Design and develop a new Secrets Manager product for the STACKIT distributed cloud.
Build scalable, secure, stable, and reliable cloud software for customers.
Continuously automate and optimize technical processes.
Conduct problem and error analyses and implement sustainable solutions.
Develop and deploy software using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related cloud-native technologies.
Develop Kubernetes operators and work with their architecture.
Collaborate within the NeoNephos CNCF organization and its open-source cloud computing community.

Experienced software developer with expertise in Go.
Comprehensive understanding of cryptographic protocols and standards including SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP, and X.509.
Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms such as AES and RSA.
Proficiency developing and deploying software with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Understanding of virtualization frameworks such as KubeVirt and KVM.
Experience developing Kubernetes operators and familiarity with their architecture.
Deep knowledge of the cloud-native landscape and CNCF ecosystem.
Skills with interface and communication technologies such as gRPC.
Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
Knowledge of OpenBao and familiarity with Vault, Talos, or Cilium are preferred.

Work on a digitally sovereign European cloud provider and a new security-focused product.
Genuine creative freedom and fast decision-making processes within the stable foundation of the Schwarz Group.
Participation in the NeoNephos CNCF organization, described as the largest EU open-source community for cloud computing.
