Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term technical vision for Shopping ML.
- Lead the development of AI systems to improve product discovery and shopping.
- Architect large-scale ML systems combining various models and personalization.
- Build and operate production ML systems for real-time shopping experiences.
- Identify foundational ML capabilities to enhance customer experiences.
- Partner with senior leaders to shape technical strategy and roadmap.
- Influence company-wide ML architecture and contribute to major initiatives.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers through design reviews and collaboration.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale ML systems.
- Proven track record in architecting ML systems for global scale.
- Deep expertise in recommendation systems, ranking models, and search systems.
- Experience combining generative AI with traditional ML systems.
- Experience designing ML platforms for large-scale experimentation.
- Ability to influence senior engineering and product leaders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar.
