Responsibilities
- Build core sub-components of the nELISA software stack, including database schemas and analysis pipelines.
- Design and implement agentic backends and AI-augmented tooling for lab automation.
- Develop internal tools to enhance R&D and lab operations efficiency.
- Write modular software for efficient analysis pipelines and internal QC tools.
- Create better interfaces for robotic lab automation equipment.
- Contribute to codebase improvements for scaling nELISA decoding and analysis pipelines.
- Deploy and scale data pipelines for processing flow cytometry data.
Requirements
- Full-stack software engineering experience, preferably in biotech or life sciences.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and ability to direct agents effectively.
- Technical skills in algorithm development, signal processing, or bioinformatics.
- Experience developing data analysis pipelines for biochemical assays.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Python skills and experience in a small software team.
- Experience interfacing with lab equipment or developing extensions on existing LIMS.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
