Responsibilities
- Build and improve automation for operational tasks and workflows.
- Maintain Data Development infrastructure through monitoring, observability, and maintenance.
- Own deployments, support users, resolve incidents, and plan capacity and performance.
- Build and monitor production data pipelines, including onboarding data trials and loading Timeseries for research and trading.
- Perform root cause analyses and drive remedial actions.
- Handle production deployments, configuration changes, and user requests.
- Develop observability, deployment automation, and approval-driven self-service operational platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Reliability, or a similar role.
- At least two years of hands-on Python programming experience.
- Proficiency with the Linux command line.
- Knowledge of relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, Consul, Grafana, Kibana, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working within a global team.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, self-driven approach with strong ownership and accountability.
