Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services in Go for the private cloud platform.
- Write and maintain Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go.
- Test, debug, and improve existing infrastructure applications.
- Migrate existing workloads onto the new private cloud platform.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for owned services.
- Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and other specialists on system and application design.
- Review code, write technical documentation, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial backend development experience, including at least 2 years building production services in Go.
- Knowledge of Go concurrency, the standard library, and building REST and gRPC services.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Experience writing Go tests with the standard testing package and Testify or Ginkgo.
- Experience building and running containerized applications on Linux, including debugging services, reading logs, and troubleshooting basic host networking.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Experience with Kubernetes operators or controllers written in Go is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Python and Pytest, Robot Framework, Helm, Kustomize, GitOps, HashiCorp Vault, and Terraform is advantageous.
- CKA or CKAD certification is beneficial but not required.
