$153k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using the company technology stack.
- Evaluate complex technical data, developments, and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Build software components that integrate into fully functional software systems.
- Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Resolve production issues related to product and system reliability.
- Partner with Machine Learning, Product, and Operations teams on scalable, data-driven solutions.
- Design and build end-to-end data systems, including ETL pipelines and data quality monitoring frameworks.
- Solve distributed-systems challenges and optimize performance and efficiency in large-scale, real-time environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience with Python, Git, and SQL.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, debugging and monitoring for production services, distributed systems, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with at least one big-data processing framework such as Spark, Ray, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
Benefits
- Annual base pay of $153,000 to $169,000.
- Eligibility to participate in Uber’s bonus program and potentially receive other compensation.
