Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and prototypes.
- Develop software applications using Gradle, Java, and Python.
- Gather and evaluate end-user and customer requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and resolve performance issues.
- Customize access and interfaces for a customer-tailored large language model.
- Design accessible user interfaces and interfaces or bridges to external requirements-management tools.
- Explore LLM and AI integration opportunities.
- Contribute to project planning and strategic initiatives while collaborating with product managers, developers, SMEs, and leadership.
- Mentor junior software engineers.
Requirements
- Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in substitution.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Compliance with DoD8570 IAT2.
- Proficiency in Linux and basic networking skills.
- Experience with full-stack software development, Java, Python, and LLM or AI integration.
