Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI-driven security agents using Large Language Models to automate security operations and workflows.
- Build and maintain SOAR playbooks integrated with SIEM, EDR, identity, and other security platforms.
- Lead automation and process-improvement initiatives, defining metrics for reliability, visibility, and operational impact.
- Support resilient 24/7 detection and response capabilities, security tool administration, audits, and incident investigations.
- Develop SOPs, playbooks, standards, documentation, and enablement sessions for engineering teams.
- Promote secure coding, secure design, security awareness, and adherence to security best practices across DevOps environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on security engineering and automation.
- Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash and using Azure Logic Apps or SOAR tools.
- Experience designing SOAR workflows for automated security response and incident triage.
- Experience with LLMs or frameworks such as Claude, GPT-4, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI.
- Strong knowledge of incident response, threat detection, IAM, RESTful APIs, JSON, cloud platforms, cloud-native security, SIEM, log management, and endpoint detection.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Intune, or related Microsoft Security products.
- Understanding of IT service management and change control processes.
- Preferred certifications include AZ-500, SC-900, SC-200, CISSP, CAP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CASP+, or other relevant security automation and cloud security certifications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
